At HSA Systems we have always operated with dedication. Dedication towards creating innovative solutions to support various industries and at the same time contributing positively. We are visible in the local community, we manufacture to the highest possible standards and bring innovative printing solutions to various industries.

We already aim to contributing positively and to create meaningful products, yet we understand the urgent need to go even beyond certifications and responsible production. This is why we are currently setting new goals within social and environmental sustainability. We focus on the areas where we have the best ability to create a positive impact and therefor build our strategy on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals; a framework adopted by all United Nations Member States and a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet.

The areas where we have discovered the biggest potentials are within SDG Goal 12 Responsible Consumption and Production, Goal 17 Partnerships for the goals, Goal 9 Industry, Innovation and Manufacturing, and Goal 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth.

HSA SYSTEMS Partnerships & Sponsorships

Forming meaningful partnerships has been a core value and driving force from the beginning at HSA Systems. We have established a strong network of distributors globally and actively seek new ways to strengthen the ties between cultures and within industry clusters.

HSA Systems supports both national and international non-governmental organisations in various fields and with various overall goals. We choose the organisations based solely on their mission to create value for people. You can read more about our sponsorships here.

In-House production and local suppliers

At HSA Systems we develop and assemble 100% of our products in-house in either one of our departments in Denmark or at our subsidiary in the Czech Republic. Having our own team assemble our systems ensure high quality and quick adaptation of new requirements or alterations to customer needs. This way our customers are further ensured that the products they buy are made responsibly under good working conditions.

At HSA Systems, we use local Danish suppliers when possible. This means that most parts and equipment are supplied by local companies and manufacturers. We appreciate the close cooperation we have with our suppliers, making it possible to ensure that high quality products are always used in our production.

Labour

HSA Systems respects national laws and international labour standards in the countries in which we operate. All employees are hired in accordance with and exceeding the laws in the respective countries.

HSA Systems respects and demands that our business partners respect the following points:

  • Freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.
  • Elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour.
  • Effective abolition of child labour.
  • Elimination of discrimination within employment and occupation.

Certifications

HSA Systems do not only adhere to national regulations and requirements, we already go a long way to ensure that our products and manufacturing standards live up to the highest standards. All HSA Systems product components holds an internationally recognised certification and we use third party audits to verify the quality of our operations.

Minimising Waste & RECYCLING

HSA Systems is registered with the WEEE Register Society, and we dispose of our general waste according to Danish law.

To reduce waste, we are already taking steps towards minimising our waste and advance our reuse and recycling. Here are a few of the efforts we already make:

  • All metal turnings, shavings, chips etc. are collected from our production and recycled
  • At HSA Systems we reuse all box filling from deliveries to HSA Systems
  • At HSA Systems we circulate all pallets and have established a network of local companies to share and reuse surplus and discarded pallets.
  • All cardboard and paper are collected for reuse and recycling
