HSA Systems expands production in Odense
The Danish manufacturer and developer of industrial inkjet printers continues to grow and has expanded its production area in Odense by 500 m2
Due to a continuous inflow of orders and streamlining of production HSA Systems in Odense has expanded its production area by 500 m2. The department in Odense has also expanded with additional conference rooms as well as a large showroom, and is currently working on a test centre which will be used for the testing of inks, making of customer configurations and for training of distributors.
“We have been looking for extra production space for quite some time. So far, our production area has been placed in the same building as our administration, service and freight. Since we are working with big CNC-machines in the production, this arrangement wasn’t optimal. Additionally, we quite simply needed the extra space for manufacturing, assembly and handling of orders. So when the production area across from our office building became vacant, we seized the opportunity“, says PED responsible, Martin Bjerg Lauridsen.
Faster Adaptation of Customised Solutions
The new production facilities also consist of an assembly area, providing prime conditions for responding quickly to new orders and working with customised solutions.

“We produce our own printer equipment and have the machine capacity for quick adaptation and production of customised fittings or tailored print systems. When it comes to customised solutions, this is where our strengths truly lie”, Martin Bjerg Lauridsen adds, and continues: “We often experience people who are surprised by the fact that our chip removal production actually takes place here in Odense, and that the premium printhead they hold in their hand is 100% European craftsmanship.”
HSA Systems sells its equipment through a well-established network of distributors and integrators in more than 60 countries worldwide. The new test centre, the larger showroom and the extra conference facilities provides the best conditions for training sessions and for customer visits.
In addition to the branch in Odense where its sales- and marketing departments are located, HSA Systems has its headquarter in Skovlunde and an innovation- and vision department in Aalborg.
